All SAAMA designation holders have an obligation to develop and maintain their professional competence, relevant to the nature of their work and professional responsibilities. CPD is compulsory and is applicable to all designation holders.
A SAAMA designation is valid for a period of 3 years, during which the member has to submit proof of CPD in order to have the designation renewed. The following table summarises the CPD points required per designation.
