SAAMA and GFMAM
The South African Asset Management Association (SAAMA) is proud to be a member of the
Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) — an international collaboration of
professional bodies dedicated to advancing maintenance and asset management worldwide.
The Global Forum on Maintenance & Asset Management (GFMAM) is a non-profit organisation founded
to promote and develop the maintenance and asset management professions through global collaboration on knowledge,
standards and best practices. By bringing together national and regional organisations, GFMAM supports alignment
across industries and countries, helping to strengthen the discipline and its impact on organisational performance
and sustainability.
Through SAAMA’s membership of GFMAM, South African practitioners are connected to a global network of expertise,
research and professional development. This relationship supports alignment with internationally recognised
frameworks, emerging thinking and global standards in asset management.
How this benefits SAAMA members
